By accessing or using RefundRadar ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

RefundRadar is a price monitoring service that tracks prices on your past purchases and alerts you when prices drop within your return window. The Service helps you identify opportunities for price adjustments, returns, or rebuy savings.

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted

Gmail Access

By connecting your Gmail account, you grant RefundRadar limited, read-only access to scan for purchase confirmation emails. You understand and agree that:

• We will only access emails related to purchase confirmations and order receipts
• We will not access personal conversations, attachments, or non-purchase emails
• You may disconnect Gmail access at any time through your account settings
• Our use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy

Price Information Accuracy

RefundRadar provides price information on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy or completeness of any price data
• That all price drops will be detected
• That any retailer will honor a price adjustment or return
• Specific savings amounts or outcomes

Price information is provided for informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying prices and retailer policies before taking action.

Subscription & Billing

• Free tier: Limited features at no cost
• Plus tier: $4.99/month with expanded features
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use
• Share your account or access credentials with others
• Abuse the Service in any way that degrades performance for other users

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of RefundRadar are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REFUNDRADAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RefundRadar and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
